What happens when your staff can't get into work due to snow?

Well, by then it's too late. If you don't have correct measures in place to ensure your staff can work from home, then you lose a day of their time and they lose a day of pay.
And then what does that mean for your clients? What do they then lose? And do you lose them as a result?

A lot of losing going on in the snow and not much winning.
Ideally, this is a solution you need to think about before it snows. 

So, what measures can you put in place to ensure nobody loses out in the snow?

Ensure your emails are accessible from anywhere.

Exchange emails are the best way to do this, and we recommend Office365. It's subscription-based, meaning you only pay for what you want to use. It uses the exchange feature, which means it syncs in real time with your other devices with just one licence, which can be installed on up to 5 devices. You also get the full office software with it, meaning working from home or on the move is easily transferable when you can get back in the office.

This, for some companies, might be enough, but do you really want to be working from emails? Can you work with a version of something you emailed 2 or 3 days ago? What if it has been updated since then? Do you have all of your resources and documents and bookmarks through your email? If you do that's incredible and you are more organised than me. I just know there would be a more user-friendly and efficient way for me: 

Create access directly to the office.

We suggest via a remote connection directly to your PC. This means you can access your PC from a remote location via a PC, laptop, or tablet and work from it as if you were sat at your desk. You can then work just as efficiently as if you were sat right at your desk. Secure remote access to the office can also be created using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), giving you access to data stored in the office at your fingertips.

The only thing we can't control is if your staff have Jeremy Kyle on in the background whilst working, that one is on you I'm afraid!
